What the app collects
Nothing. Seis has no account, no server, no analytics and no third-party code. Nothing you write leaves your phone unless you move it yourself.
Where your book lives
- Everything you write is stored in the app’s own folder on your device, which other apps cannot read and which does not appear in the Files app.
- If you have iCloud Backup or Finder backups turned on, that folder is included in your device backup like any other app’s data. The app itself does not sync.
- Export in Settings gives you a copy of the whole book as one file, to keep wherever you choose.
- Deleting the app deletes the book. Export first if you want to keep it.
Locking the book
In Settings you can lock the book with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. iOS handles the check and tells the app only whether it passed; the app never sees or stores biometric data. While the app is in the background, the app switcher shows only the app’s mark, never what you wrote.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your phone (local notifications). They are never sent from a server. A reminder names the commitment, which you can turn off, and how many to-dos are still open; it never contains anything you wrote. You can turn reminders off in Settings in the app or in iPhone Settings at any time.
Shortcuts
The app offers one action to the Shortcuts app, “Start Today’s Book Now”. It runs on your device and changes only today’s times.
This website
This site is static pages with no cookies, no analytics and no forms. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser’s request for the font files and nothing else.
Children
The app does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
